Kronos Quartet at Town Hall, April 25, 2019
Tickets: $47-$67. Screening/Show at 8 pm.

The trailblazing Kronos Quartet has spent over 40 years fearlessly exploring the string quartet and remaking it in its own, globetrotting image. Now they’re helping to remake the documentary film format as well. Oscar-nominated filmmakers Sam Green and Joe Bini have teamed up with Grammy-winning Kronos Quartet for A Thousand Thoughts, a documentary film about Kronos, featuring the quartet playing the music live as the movie is screened as well as narration, archival footage, and filmed interviews with musical luminaries Philip Glass, Tanya Tagaq, Steve Reich, Wu Man and Terry Riley.

Kronos Quartet plays live to the documentary film A Thousand Thoughts, on Thursday, April 25, at Town Hall.
