La Force at Webster Hall
Dec. 13. 8PM. $48.05
The Montreal artist known as La Force is the solo project of singer Ariel Engle, who has been an active collaborator over the years with some of that city’s most notable bands, including the collective known as Broken Social Scene. But as La Force, she has carved out a space for herself that’s somewhere at the junction of pop, noise, and experimental electronic music. She brings her tricky blend of pop directness and elusive production to open the night for Patrick Watson on Dec. 13 at Webster Hall.
