La Guardia on the death of FDR

La Guardia speaks with great sadness about the death of President Roosevelt. He notes that the day's plans had included an award that was supposed to be bestowed in WNYC. He speaks of people from all walks of life joining together to mourn the passing of Roosevelt. He calls on all Americans to carry on.

Ends with prayer from the Dr. Darlington of the Church of the Holy Rest.
