Lester R. Brown, founder of the Earth Policy and Worldwatch Institutes, describes our current transition from fossil fuels to renewables. Whereas solar energy projects were once small-scale and largely designed for residential use, energy investors are now building utility-scale solar projects. The Great Transition: Shifting from Fossil Fuels to Solar and Wind Energy details the strides being made to implement wind, solar, and geothermal energy. He is joined by co-author Janet Larsen, director of research for Earth Policy Institute.
