Lau Noah at Bar LunÁtico
Sept. 3. 9PM and 10:30PM. $10.

The singer and guitarist Lau Noah is based here in NY, but she’s originally from Catalonia in Spain, and her guitar playing reflects the sounds of Spanish classical and flamenco music. But there are also elements of Latin American music, jazz, pop, even bluegrass on her album called A Dos. That’s because that record is (as the title implies) a series of duets with people like jazz singer Cecile McLorin Salvant, mandolinist Chris Thile, and pop star Jacob Collier. She plays two sets at Bar LunÁtico on Sept. 3.

Lau Noah on the Soundcheck Podcast in 2024:

Be alert for scams. WNYC never asks for nor accepts money for coverage or interviews. Anyone making such a request does not represent WNYC.
