The exact date of this episode is unknown. We've filled in the date above with a placeholder. What we actually have on record is: 1941-02-uu.

At the WNYC studios musicians perform a "wind trio" for clarinet, french horn, and bassoon, composed by Norman Dello Joio ('Trio for Woodwinds"); and Leonard Bernstein performs his own "Sonata for Violin and Piano" with violinist Leonard Posner.

Dello Joio's composition was eventually "withdrawn."
