Journalist Anshel Pfeffer discusses his new book Bibi: The Turbulent Life and Times of Benjamin Netanyahu. Pfeffer argues that we cannot understand Israel -- its history, present and future without first understanding the life and worldview of the man who leads it. Benjamin Netanyahu is embroiled in numerous scandals and may soon be ousted from the office. Pfeffer examines Netanyahu's rise, his hold on Israeli politics and his role on the world's stage.

Anshel Pfeffer will be in conversation with Eric Alterman at the CUNY Leon Levy Center for Biography on May 8 at 6:30 pm.
