It takes two to tango. But it takes a group of six to drag the tango, kicking and dancing, into the 21st century. The band Los Tangueros del Oeste is American-based, with musicians from Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and, yes, Argentina, tango’s ancestral home. But Los Tangueros del Oeste are a new breed of tango musicians – they grew up with hip hop and electronic music, and you shouldn’t expect their tangos to sound like their grandparents.
