Abortion Access Collides with Pro-Life Activists in the Deep South

Director Maisie Crow discusses her new documentary, “Jackson,” about the last abortion clinic in the state of Mississippi. Shannon Brewer, director of the Jackson Women’s Health Organization, also joins the conversation. The film follows the intertwined lives of three women, and reveals how the lives of two of those women are affected by the director of the local pro-life crisis pregnancy center.

"Jackson" opens on Friday, June 10, at 7:00 pm at the IFC Center (323 Ave of the Americas). It will also screen on Sunday, June 12, 8:30 p.m. at the Film Society of Lincoln Center (70 Lincoln Center Plaza).
