Mary J. Blige at Barclays Center

Mary J. Blige at Barclays Center, Aug. 28 with Nas
Tickets: $61-$450. Show at 8 pm.

After appearing in the film Mudbound, Mary J. Blige became the first person to be nominated for an Oscar for acting and an Oscar for songwriting in the same year. Of course they don’t give Oscars for singing; we have Grammys for that – and Blige has won 9 of them. The native New Yorker is, according to Billboard, the most successful female R&B/Hip-Hop artist of the past 25 years. Mary J. Blige performs Wed. night, Aug. 28, with the great New York rapper Nas, at Barclays Center.
