Max Raabe: Echoing The Cabarets Of Old Berlin

Soundcheck | Mar 3, 2014

Take a cool, Cabaret-style voice, add a sly sense of humor, and pull from a treasury of great songs on both sides of the Atlantic, and you have Max Raabe and the Palast Orchester. The sardonic and stylish German singer has become a cult favorite thanks to music that hearkens back to the 1920's Weimar Germany and Tin Pan Alley songs with a slight refreshing twist of modern pop.

Hear Raabe perform in the Soundcheck studio.
