A Moment of Hope in an NYC Hospital

A reassuring 1969 Beatles song now brings an extra measure of hope, as it plays over the intercom at Lenox Hill Hospital. Healthcare workers now play Here Comes The Sun every time a patient gets off a ventilator or recovers and goes home.

Claire Panke is a nurse in the newborn intensive care unit. She calls the tune a moment of "good news during the day."

New York's three-day average change in hospitalizations has continued to decline since the beginning of the month.
