More Life

Selected Shorts | Dec 5, 2014

The Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, novelist, and essayist Mark Strand died on November 29th, at the age of 80.

SELECTED SHORTS featured Strand’s touching father-son story, “More Life,” during our 2011 season, and we reprise it here in his honor. It was read by SHORTS’ late host and founder Isaiah Sheffer.
