Musician Allison Russell Talks About 'Outside Child'

[REBROADCAST FROM November 5, 2021] Canadian roots musician Allison Russell has been a member of several bands, including Po’ Girls, Birds of Chicago, and Our Native Daughters alongside Rhiannon Giddens, Amythyst Kiah, and Leyla McCalla. Earlier this year, she released her debut solo album, Outside Child, an autobiographical record of childhood abuse and survival.
