Nathalie Joachim at Joe's Pub
July 16. 7PM. $37.50

Nathalie Joachim started her career as a classical flutist, but soon moved into electronic music, and then, in recent years, has begun singing and writing songs that explore her Haitian family roots. Her latest album, Ki moun ou ye, or "Who Are You" in Kreyol, uses field recordings of her family in their tiny Haitian village with strings, percussion, and the flute and electronics that Joachim has never left behind. Composer/Flutist/Vocalist Nathalie Joachim plays on July 16 at Joe’s Pub.

Nathalie Joachim on the Soundcheck Podcast in 2024:
