Violinist, conductor and music teacher Itzhak Perlman discusses "Itzhak,” the new documentary about his life, along with the film’s director Alison Chernick. The film looks at his childhood as a polio survivor whose parents emigrated from Poland to Israel, and later, as a young man who struggled to be taken seriously as a music student when schools saw only his disability. "Itzhak" will be in theaters on March 9th.
Alison Chernick and Itzhak Perlman will have a Q&A at Landmark 57 West on March 10 following the 7:15 pm, at Quad on March 11 following the 12:10 show, and again at Landmark 57 West on March 11 following the 2:15 show.
