A New Podcast About The Crown Heights Riot

A new podcast from Pineapple Street Studios takes an in depth look at what became known as the "Crown Heights Riot," which took place 30 years ago in Brooklyn in August of 1991. Love Thy Neighbor, hosted by journalist Collier Meyerson, looks at the four days of unrest in Crown Heights, the Lubavitch Jewish and Caribbean-American communities located there, and what this point in history can tell us about issues such as racism, anti-Semitism and police violence. Meyerson joins us to discuss the podcast, which premiered its first episode on February 15.
