
New York Bans Fracking
Governor Cuomo issued his long-awaited decision on fracking in New York State, citing health and environmental concerns in deciding to ban the practice in New York's Marcellus Shale. Northeast Region director of Food and Water Watch, part of the New Yorkers Against Fracking coalition, Alex Beauchamp, talks about the successful efforts of his group joined by capitol bureau chief for New York State Public Radio, Karen DeWitt.
