No school today for 13 million students

UNICEF warns that upheaval in the Middle East and North Africa has driven more than 13 million children from school — 40 percent of the area's school-age population. Instead of learning, many kids in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Yemen, Libya, Sudan and Gaza are working or fighting.
