NYC Greenlights Her

In June last summer, the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College produced two original half-hour television pilots as part of the Mayors Office of Media and Entertainment’s initiative

Julie Menin, commissioner of Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, discusses a city project called #GreenlightHer, a competition between women screenwriters, which the city hopes will address the under representation of women in the film and television industry.  She’s joined by participants Patty Carey-Perazzo, screenwriter of "Half Life," and Robin Rose Singer, screenwriter of "Maturity." Watch and vote for your favorite pilot here.
