The Schools Chancellor is one of the highest profile appointments to any new administration and of interest to almost a million New York City public school kids and their parents and families.

The newest city schools chancellor Kamar Samuels sat with WNYC's Sean Carlson in studio to talk about what’s on his agenda and how his first few weeks have been.
