Helen Shaw, previously a staff writer at The New Yorker and theater critic for New York Magazine, has been hired as the chief theater critic for The New York Times. Shaw discusses how she's thinking about her new role, her approach to theater criticism, and previews a few spring shows she's looking forward to.
