Omar Sosa and Seckou Keita at Roulette
Thursday, March 21 at 8 pm
Tickets: $26-$30.

The Afro-Cuban pianist Omar Sosa has developed a distinctive musical voice that incorporates mainstream jazz, his own meditation practice, and the sounds of world music. His latest project is a collaboration with Seckou Keita, a master Senegalese musician who plays the kora, the traditional West African harp. Their album together is called Transparent Water, and the band includes musicians from China and Japan as well, for a truly globetrotting sound. Kora master Seckou Keita and piano virtuoso Omar Sosa bring their graceful cross-cultural collaboration to Roulette tonight.
