Oscar Docs: Virunga

The Brian Lehrer Show | Feb 11, 2015

“Virunga” is one of the five feature-length documentaries nominated for an Oscar. It’s set in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Virunga National Park, a World Heritage Site that’s home to most of the world's few remaining mountain gorillas, where you can also find rebel militia groups and oil.

Orlando von Einsiedel, director and producer of “Virunga”, and producer Joanna Natasegara discuss their documentary following the story.

"Virunga" is available for screening on Netflix.
