Frank Pasquale, professor of law at the University of Maryland, an affiliate fellow at Yale Law School's Information Society Project and the author of The Black Box Society: The Secret Algorithms That Control Money and Information (Harvard University Press, 2015), argues for more regulation of our personal data profiles, and more transparency to the ways Wall Street and Silicon Valley firms do their work.
