Parov Stelar at Brooklyn Steel
Feb. 28. 8PM. $58.50 +up.

The Austrian musician known as Parov Stelar is one of the leading practitioners of the style known as electro swing. It’s an irresistible musical confection made up of equal parts 1930s swing jazz and 21^st century electronic dance music, and reflects Stelar’s own background as both a sax player and a DJ. He’s also become a painter and a successful furniture designer, but let’s face it: when he makes a rare appearance in the States, people don’t come to look at paintings or sit on a couch. They come to shake their booties. Parov Stelar plays on Feb. 28 at Brooklyn Steel.
