Float On: Dream Pop by Pavo Pavo

Soundcheck | Dec 5, 2016

Pavo is the Latin word for peacock. Pavo Pavo is a Brooklyn band that has just released an impressive debut album, called Young Narrator In the Breakers.

With influences ranging from Brian Wilson and Beach House to Monteverdi, their music looks both forward and backwards at once – with harmonies and lush arrangements reminiscent of 60's pop and more experimental moments that might reflect the influence of the so-called indie classical scene here in New York. Pavo Pavo performs their unusual dream pop live in the studio.

Set List:

  • "Wiserway"
  • "Annie Hall"
  • "Ran Ran Run"
