Ending Religious Wars Peacefully

The Brian Lehrer Show | Jul 13, 2016

The Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding is a non-profit organization committed to ending religious based conflict world-wide. To meet that noble end Tanenbaum created  a network of "peacemakers," men and women who risk their lives to stop violence in religiously-charged conflicts where they live around the world.

Brian talked to Nigerian pastor James Wuye, who teaches warring religious youth militias to resolve their conflicts peacefully and Bosnian Croat Franciscan friar Ivo Markovic,  who worked for peace during the Bosnian War and continues that fight today.
