Using Jazz to Explain the Multiverse

John Coltrane was inspired by Einstein, putting physics and geometry at the core of his music. Stephon Alexander, professor of physics at Brown University, jazz musician and author of The Jazz of Physics: The Secret Link Between Music and the Structure of the Universe (Basic Books, 2016), returns the favor using jazz to explain some of the deepest mysteries in physics and cosmology.
