A Playful Adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice'

Midday on WNYC | Dec 20, 2017

Actor/playwright Kate Hamill and actor Jason O'Connell discuss their production of Pride and Prejudice at the Cherry Lane Theatre through January 6. The playful new adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic romance is a Primary Stages co-production with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. It tells the story of outspoken Elizabeth Bennet who faces mounting pressure from her status-conscious mother to secure a suitable marriage.

This segment is guest hosted by Jonathan Capehart.
