Poetry Month 2024: Your poems, mapped

WNYC News | May 9, 2024

For all the month of April, Morning Edition had the honor of airing poems from listeners about the nearby places that are important to you and what’s happening there.

We had an overwhelming response and were only able to play a fraction of the many poems sent to us. But whether we played your poem on air, or not, we sincerely thank everyone who participated.

If you heard a poem that you'd like to hear again, we've compiled all of them into this interactive map.

In keeping with the month's theme of "local," click on a borough or area to hear poems submitted from that locality.

Happy listening!
