How Are You Feeling this Election Season?

The Leonard Lopate Show | Mar 2, 2016

The presidential primary has been fraught with intense emotions, fiery rhetoric and grand ideology. Whether candidates appeal to anger and frustration among voters, or outright fear mongering, it seems like now more than ever, presidential hopefuls are tapping into Americans’ gut feelings.

Our series, “Primary Emotions" takes an in-depth look at a new feeling each week, and the social and cultural issues connected to each one.

Tune in every Tuesday at noon, March 15 through April 19. We’ll hear from comedians, anthropologists, political scientists and writers.

Most of all, we want to hear from you! Are you feeling angrier than ever this election season? Frustrated? Do you hold out any hope? Tell us how you're feeling, and what will be driving you to the polls on election day. Write to us in the comments section, on Twitter or Facebook, or leave us a message on Anchor!
