[REBROADCAST FROM December 22, 2020] Curator Chaédria LaBouvier and writer, curator, and musician Greg Tate join us on Jean-Michel Basquiat’s 60th birthday to discuss his influence on art history and music. LaBouvier was the first Black curator to curate a show at the Guggenheim with the 2019 show, "Basquiat’s “Defacement”: The Untold Story," and Tate is the co-curator along with Liz Munsell of, "Writing the Future: Basquiat and the Hip-Hop Generation."
