Quantic – "Run" (Weekly Music Roundup)

The British-born, New York-based producer known as Quantic offers a globally-informed, futurist take on dance music, often using real strings, tropical rhythms, and guest vocalists, often from other parts of the world. You’ll find all of the above on Quantic’s new single, “Run,” which features vocals by the London soul singer Andreya Triana. After opening with what sounds almost like chamber music, “Run” moves steadily through a hint of Brazilian pop, into Mediterranean-style dance music, and then finally a hard-to-resist neo-disco groove. “Run” by the producer known as Quantic is part of our Weekly Music Roundup.
