The five Democratic candidates for president have their first debate tonight in Las Vegas. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will face off against Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, former Rhode Island Senator Lincoln Chaffee, and former Virginia Senator Jim Webb.

The polls still indicate that it is Hillary Clinton's race to lose. She holds a double-digit lead over Senator Sanders, her closest contender, but Clinton was also the front runner going into the 2007 campaign season before then-Senator Barack Obama clinched the Democratic nomination.

Clinton is certainly hoping for a different final outcome this time around, and the game has changed in important ways in the last 8 years.

After the Supreme Court's Citizen's United ruling in 2010, there is much more money being spent on campaigns, which plays to Clinton's advantage.

However, she also has to contend with the constant chatter about her emails, and the legacy of Benghazi on her record, most recently rearing its head in a new House investigation opening next week.

But there is also a new media landscape for Clinton to navigate.

Yesterday, an interview she recorded with "Another Round," a new podcast from BuzzFeed, was released. In it, she talks about how she tries to find time to do yoga and walk her dogs with her husband.

But hosts of "Another Round," Tracy Clayton and Heben Nigatu, also pressed her on how she thinks change will happen in America, particularly when it comes to issues of racism and what she wants to do to reform the criminal justice system.

What you'll learn from this segment:

  • How Clayton and Nigatu approached this interview and whether they thought they got beyond the script.
  • Whether they think they got the "real" Hillary Clinton in this interview.
  • What they hope to hear from Clinton at tonight's debate.
