Rediscovering 'Panique,' a Mostly Unseen Masterpiece

Pierre Simenon joins us to discuss a new restoration of Julien Duvivier’s “Panique,” a Film Noir masterpiece that has gone unseen for nearly 50 years. The film is based on his father, the iconic mystery writer Georges Simenon’s novel, Mr. Hire’s Engagement. Pierre, an expert on his father's work, has written a novel and a book on his father.
