Report: FBI Investigating Businessmen with Ties to de Blasio

Federal officials have launched an investigation into two prominent New York businessmen with ties to Mayor Bill de Blasio, according to the New York Times.
News of the investigation bubbled up earlier this week, after the New York Post reported FBI agents were visiting senior members of the NYPD at their homes.
"They knocked on the door of about 20 police officials," said New York Times reporter William Rashbaum.
The FBI wanted information on Jeremy Reichberg and Jona Rechnitz — two businessmen who served on de Blasio's inaugural committee.
No charges have been filed and the details of the case remain murky.
