In part one of the interview Fischer talks with the activists about Gay Pride Week, the demonstration at City Hall that occurred earlier that day, and other issues regarding gay rights in New York and the United States.

In part two of the interview, Fischer inquires about the politics of the Gay Activists Alliance and the Scottish Minorities Group. They discuss the penal code of the state of New York and the importance of changing the laws. At the time, the number of groups politically active in lobbying against oppressive laws was increasing.
