The NYPR Archive Collections | Jan 1, 2000

This is a partial interview with three candidates running to be the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate. This audio was found on two tapes, and there has not been a complete copy of the program found. The three candidates bicker a bit about campaign finances and then each talk briefly about their goals in fighting the Nixon administration and helping bring an end to the Vietnam War. Political Consultant David Garth and activist David Mixner's names are both mentioned. They also talk about Republican U.S. Senator Charles Goodell.
