New York Times reporter and Interpreter columnist Amanda Taub joins us to discuss her recent article, “How a Sleepy German Suburb Explains Europe’s Rising Far-Right Movements.” Taub spent time in a middle-class, mostly white suburb just outside Berlin where support for far-right populism is strong. Taub spoke with residents about issues like immigration and the refugee crisis, and tried to understand how the far-right's influence is taking hold across Europe.
