It's been 30 years since the Mets won a World Series, but former starting pitcher Ron Darling remembers it like it was yesterday. In Game 7, 1986: Failure and Triumph in the Biggest Game of My Life , Darling breaks down a landmark season in baseball history. He also reflects on his own personal performance as a starting pitcher for The Mets and reveals why it disappointed him.

Events: Ron Darling will be signing copies of his book at Bookends (211 East Ridgewood Ave.  Ridgewood, NJ) on Thursday, April 7th at 7 p.m. He'll also be signing copies at the Yogi Berra Museum (8 Yogi Berra Drive, Little Falls, NJ) at 6 p.m. on April 21st.
