All Of It with Alison Stewart | Mar 14, 2022

Playwright Sanaz Toossi has two shows running off-Broadway this spring, and both are comedies that take place in Karaj, Iran. "English" (running now through March 20), set in the present day, centers on a small class of English-language learners whose teacher is played by Marjan Neshat. Neshat will also appear in "Wish You Were Here" (April 13 through May 22), which follows a group of friends living through the Iranian Revolution and the Iran-Iraq War. Toossi and Neshat join us to discuss both shows.

This episode is guest-hosted by Kerry Nolan.
