Alejandro Rose Garcia is a Texas musician who plays a deeply rooted sort of Americana, and he plays it under a stage name that just reeks of old folk tales: Shakey Graves. He’s released three full LPs of music as Shakey Graves so far. Nine years ago on Tuesday, Feb. 9, the mayor of Austin TX proclaimed it “Shakey Graves Day.” Perhaps by coincidence, or maybe just to remember a fun occasion, Shakey Graves will play a series of four Tuesday night shows, every other week, starting on Feb 9 and going through March 23.
