The Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal sings, plays the tradition Tibetan flute, and Tibetan strings and percussion. He leads a fusion band called Tibet2Timbuk2, but he’s also an enthusiastic collaborator, working with Philip Glass, Patti Smith, and Laurie Anderson. Tenzin Choegyal performs solo and with the Attacca string quartet on March 7 at National Sawdust in a program that highlights the work of Riverkeeper, the organization that tries to protect global waterways.
