Snowboarding Documentary 'Dear Rider'

Jake Burton Carpenter was the founder of Burton Snowboards and one of the main figures responsible for making snowboarding a popular and celebrated sport. He also battled a rare nerve disorder called Miller Fisher Syndrome, and cancer, which took his life in 2019. A new HBO documentary takes a look at the life of this snowboarding pioneer. Director Ferdinand Villena joins us to discuss his film “Dear Rider,” now streaming on HBO Max.
