Some community leaders in Chinatown are skeptical about secret police station charge

WNYC News | Apr 21, 2023

On Monday, federal prosecutors charged two New Yorkers with operating a secret police station in Manhattan’s Chinatown, and using it to track down at least one Chinese dissident living in the United States. She spent Tuesday in Manhattan’s Chinatown speaking to community members about recent events.
