MobSquad is a Canadian company capitalizing on the uncertainty of U.S. immigration policy by hiring tech workers, just as their H-1B visas are expiring. They move the employee to Canada, then contract them back to the U.S. company. MobSquad frequently hosts mixers in the U.S., where it sells American startups on the idea of this  "nearshoring" of foreign-born workers.
