State Prison Inmate’s Diary Details The Ordeal Of Battling COVID-19 Behind Bars

COVID-19 is tearing through New York State Prisons with more than two thousand infections since mid December, and eleven deaths of incarcerated people. One of the largest outbreaks in recent weeks occurred at Woodbourne Correctional Facility. WNYC’s Gwynne Hogan takes us inside that Sullivan County facility, through the story of one man who contracted the virus.
