Steve Martin and Edie Brickell on ‘Bright Star’ and Bluegrass

Steve Martin and Edie Brickell discuss their new Broadway bluegrass-inspired musical, “Bright Star,” along with the show’s breakout star Carmen Cusack. Set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina during the 1940s, the musical tells the story of an aspiring writer returning home to after fighting in World War II. Cusack stars as Alice Murphy, a successful local magazine editor.
