Surfer Blood - "Karen" (Weekly Music Roundup)

The four members of the Florida band Surfer Blood hit upon a solution to the problem of being stuck at home: they’ve started making home movies. The first one is a live video for this song, “Karen,” which they’ve done despite having just recently released an official video of the song. Each member of the band appears in his or her own quarter of the screen, playing their parts at home, in a charming, no-frills version of what might be one of their poppiest songs yet.

Surfer Blood's new home movies series is just one musical response to the pandemic – but there’s been a range of others. See and hear some of them in our Weekly Music Roundup.
